This painting depicts Casper, a stunning Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42DS yacht, anchored off the beautiful city of Nice, South of France. The yacht's owner (my client) was the director and co-founder of a UK book publishing house. This oil painting was a wonderful commission to work on and it was a great privilege for me. There was a lot of detail painted in this picture and technical accuracy was important in portraying the yacht at anchor. The deep blues in this painting really brought to life the vibrancy and the quality of the sky and sea. I enjoyed painting the water and bringing together all the separate details and elements that added to the final realism of this artwork.
